Description:
Procurement Engineer (Primary Discipline Mechanical PE) to work at the CPED facility. Primary role / responsibilities include: Performs commercial grade dedication evaluations. Provides consistency in application and standardization for procurement engineering evaluations/reviews including classifications, commercial grade dedications, item equivalency evaluations and material analysis wherever possible and appropriate. Ensures procured material and services meet the Design Basis by developing and specifying technical and quality procurement requirements. Establishes material safety classifications and quality levels by researching design and regulatory documents. Establishes procurement methodology including developing Commercial Grade Dedication.
